Data Analytics Division
The Data Analytics team designs, writes, and tests programs and systems specifically for the healthcare industry in Maryland. Once the case mix data is collected from all Maryland hospitals, the data is processed through the customized systems. Report results provide extensive statistical analysis for healthcare Financial Officers, Financial Consultants, the Maryland Health Services Cost Review Commission (HSCRC), and the Department of Health and the Mental Hygiene (DHMH) for analysis. As governing bodies, HSCRC and DHMH analyse system results to monitor and set Maryland hospital rates for:
